Hyundai Creta is the leader (71.5 thousand units; + 5.8%), followed by Renault Duster (39 thousand units; -5.7%) and Volkswagen Tiguan (37.2 thousand units; +11 ,1%).

The segment B is the second one; its share was 37.4% in the previous year. In January - December of 2019, sales of cars of this class reached 609.8 thousand units (-2.2%). The leader here is the domestic LADA Granta (135.8 thousand units; + 27.8%). LADA Vesta (111.5 thousand units; + 2.9%) is the second one in terms of sales, and KIA Rio finished the top-3 (92.5 thousand units; -7.7%).

The segment D is the next, with a huge lag, the share of which was 5.6% in 2019. Sales of cars of this class reached 92.1 thousand units, by showing the sales growth (+ 2.6%). This allowed segment D to enter the top-3 for the first time. In turn, segment C dropped out of there - with 86.1 thousand sold cars and a decrease of 22.9%, which turned out to be the strongest in the market.

We also note that the share of each of the remaining segments is lower than 3%. Information about their sales and leading models is presented in the picture.
