"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
Now offered in two body types – sedan and liftback.
Experts of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT have already reported that the average age of cars in Russia is 13.4 years (as of July 1st, 2019). However, depending on the federal district, this indicator differs markedly.
In four districts, the average age of the fleet is lower than in the whole country. So, the "youngest" cars "live" in the Volga Federal District - their average age is 11.9 years. It is a little higher in the Central Federal District (12.2 years) and in the Urals (12.5 years). And in the North-West this indicator is 13 years.
In the other four districts, the average age of the fleet, on the contrary, is higher than the all-Russian one. And if in the South and the North Caucasus (13.7 and 14.4 years respectively) it is slightly higher than the average one, then the “oldest” cars are in Siberia (16.3 years) and in the Far East (19.9 years).
