"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", for 9 months of this year, 486 thousand new passenger cars equipped with a manual transmission were sold in our country. This represents 41% of the total Russian market. According to the agency experts, 94% of sold cars with manual transmission account for only 10 brands.
At the same time, about a half of them have the emblem of the domestic LADA (239.3 thousand units). In the structure of LADA sales, the share of cars with manual gearboxes is very high - 93%. Among the presented brands, it is higher only for Chevrolet (95% due to the Niva SUV) and another domestic manufacturer - UAZ (100%). The last mentioned brand got only recently versions of the "Patriot" with an automatic transmission, which went on sale in October.
We also note that two more brands from the TOP-10 have the market share of cars with manual gearbox higher than the national average (41%). These are Datsun (81%) and Renault (70%), and the French brand ranks the second one in sales of cars with a manual transmission in the Russian Federation. Its indicator for January - September slightly exceeded 71 thousand units, while for other brands it is below the mark of 30 thousand units.
