As a part of the preparation of the new marketing report “SUV C Crossovers: Car Owners Choice”, a survey was conducted of Russian car owners regarding their satisfaction with their cars. The study was attended by Russian motorists - owners of 15 models of cars in the SUV C segment. Respondents evaluated the appearance and safety of the car, ergonomics, handling, assembly quality and much more. One of 10 indicators in the survey was the satisfaction with the acceleration dynamics of the car. Respondents were asked to rate the level of satisfaction - from the lowest (“completely dissatisfied”) to the highest (“completely satisfied”)*.

By the results of the survey, experts noted that in the sample as a whole, the average rate of satisfaction of Russian car owners with the dynamics of acceleration of their cars reached 65.1 points. Only one third of the models participating in the study received an estimate above the average (5 out of 15). Volkswagen Tiguan has the highest acceleration performance (89.5 points). Over 70 points were also received by Mazda CX-5 (78.8), Ford Kuga (74.3) and Subaru Forester (72.4). At the average level, the respondents rated the acceleration dynamics of the Hyundai Tucson. Among the outsiders of the rating by this indicator were Geely Atlas (57.4), Suzuki GrandVitara (53.4) and Renault Kaptur (50.2).

Note that the new report contains a full-scale study of the level of satisfaction of car owners (by 10 parameters), a repurchase index, an index of justification of expectations, NPS and other indicators characterizing the features of the selection and operation of SUV C segment cars.

* The study was conducted through an online survey in October’18 – July’19. It was attended by more than 3,000 car owners. General and private satisfaction indices were calculated using a special technique and were given to 100 points.
