"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

In June, sales of new passenger cars amounted to 141.2 thousand units in Russia, by showing a fall of 2.8% compared with the result of June 2018. At the same time, experts of the analytical agency “AUTOSTAT” note that the growth is maintained in four segments of the Russian market (D, LAV, MPV, pickup), while in other five segments there is a decline. Segment A fell more strongly than others (-31.9%).
The largest segment of our car market in June was SUV, which accounted for 42.2%. During this period, the Russians purchased 59.5 thousand new crossovers and SUVs, which is 1.7% less than the previous year. Hyundai Creta remains the leader (5,955 units; + 3.2%), Renault Duster is in the second place (3,547 units; -11.2%), and Volkswagen Tiguan (3,234 units; + 22.9%) is in the third one.
The share of segment B at the end of the previous month was 37.8%, which is equivalent to 53.4 thousand sold units (-4%). Three leaders are the following: LADA Granta (11,609 units; + 26.4%) ranked the first, LADA Vesta (8,947 units; -9.1%) ranked the second in terms of sales, followed by KIA Rio (8,282 items; -6%). We should note that these two segments accounted for 80% of the Russian market.
Among the rest segments it could be marked C and D, the share of each was 6.1% in June. At the rest of the segments, it does not reach 4%.
