"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
The official start of production of new trucks is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023
For the first nine months of this year, 1 million 208.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is more by 15.4% than in the last year. At the same time, in September of 2018, sales of new cars were 147.1 thousand units, which is more by 6.6% than a year ago.
As for crossovers and SUVs, their sales grew by 22.1% in January-September compared with 9 months of 2017 and amounted to 521.9 thousand vehicles. The segment's share in total sales grew by 2.4 percentage points and reached 43.2%.
The model rating is headed by Hyundai Creta (49,683 units; + 33.6%). In the second place there is Renault Duster (31,643 units; + 3.3%), behind which KIA Sportage is located (24,619 units; + 34.5%). The fourth place of the rating table is occupied by LADA 4x4 (23,819 units; + 17.4%), and Toyota RAV4 closes the TOP-five of leaders (23,281 units; -2.6%).
The TOP-10 also included: Volkswagen Tiguan, Renault Kaptur, Chevrolet Niva, Mitsubishi Outlander and Nissan X-Trail. Most of them show a positive trend, with the exception of Toyota RAV4 (-2.6%) and Chevrolet Niva (-6.8%).
As for September statistics, the sales of SUV grew by 16.7% to 66.7 thousand units this month. In the model ranking the leader is the same as for the first 9 months - Hyundai Creta. Toyota RAV4 came out to the second position. The third place was occupied by Renault Duster, which was the only one in the TOP-10, which left in the "minus".
