"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.

The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a survey of the primary and secondary markets in Russia for the first 8 months of 2018. So, the volume of the market of new cars for the reporing period was 1.02 million units, second-hand - 3.5 million units.
As the study showed, the largest share in the structure of the market for both new and used cars belonged to four main segments - SUV, B, C, D. If in the primary market they occupy a share of 92.8%, then in the secondary market - 87, 5%.
In the market structure of new vehicles the SUV segment is the leader with a share of 43.1%, which once again confirmed the growing popularity of crossovers and SUVs in our country. The second place is occupied by the vehilces of the B segment (37.9%), and the vehicles of the C-class and D-class follow with a large gap (6.6% and 5.2%, respectively). The remaining segments have 7.2% in total, and more than a half of them have a share less than 1% of the total.
As for the secondary market, the largest share here was in segment B (37.8%), and it has almost the same index as in the primary market. Crossovers and SUVs ranked the second with 21.4%. Vehicles of C-class (18.8%) are on the third place, and D-class - on the fourth (9.5%). The structure of the remaining segments, which had 12.5% of the secondary market, almost repeats the structure, which has developed in the market of new cars: the most of them also have a share less than 1%.
