Russian Volkswagen dealers sold 5,653 passenger cars in January.
Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" and the publishing house "Za Rulem" decided to find out in a joint online poll what types of fuel Russian motorists use. The survey was conducted from August 29th to September 9th, 2018. More than 16 thousand respondents took part in it.
During the survey it was found out that almost every second (49.3% of the respondents) fill up the car with AI-95 gasoline. The share of those who fill up gasoline AI-92 in the tank was 30%. And AI-98 had the share more than 4%. In general, 84% of respondents fill up their cars with gasoline.
Let's also note that approximately every tenth car owner (10.4%), who took part in the survey, drives a car with a diesel engine.
As for gas fuel, it had hardly more than 4%. At the same time, according to the respondents' answers, most of this category of car owners (3.3%) fill up their cars with liquefied gas (as a rule, it is propane). Compressed gas (methane) is driven by less than 1% of the survey participants (0.9%).
Slightly more than 1% indicated that they use "other types of fuel".
