"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
The company promised to return "automatic" and airbags to its SUVs.
The growth of the Russian car market continues. So, sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles grew by 18.2% in our country in January - June of this year (against the first half of 2017). Market growth was noted in both segments - as in mass, so in premium.
Sales of mass-market cars grew by 20.1% up to 743.5 thousand units. Their share was 91.3% of the total. Note that among the brands that are represented in the TOP-25 by sold vehicles, 21 of them have a positive trend. Best of all figures are belonged to Honda, sales of which grew 4.5 times. Sales growth of Zotye grew by 158%, Mitsubishi - more than 130%. But Chevrolet (-2.4%), Geely (-3.1%), UAZ (-4.8%) and Datsun (-21.3%) brands were in the "negative" line by the end of May.
Sales in the premium segment for the reporting period grew by 4.5% up to 70.9 thousand vehicles, and its share was 8.7%. Among 14 representatives of this segment, a half of them are in the "plus". MINI and smart have succeeded better than others, the sales of which have grown by more than 50%. At others brands the growth rate is in the range from 4.4% to 31.7%. Sales of Cadillac fell the most in the premium segment (-27%). Infiniti lost 18.5% of the level of the first half of 2017, Audi - 12.3%. In the "minus" there were also Jeep, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo brands.
