"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.
In the spring of 2022 (in addition to the annual autumn wave), the fourth spring wave of the project will be released, which is aimed at identifying consumer preferences in the purchase and operation of summer tires.
For eight months of 2023, 294 thousand passenger cars rolled off Russian assembly lines
The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" carried out a study that covered the parc of vehicles in Russia by segments and toxicity standards. According to the results of the study, as of January 1st, 2018, there were 42.4 million passenger cars (PCs) on the territory of the Russian Federation. Among this volume, 31.4% do not meet the EURO-2 toxicity standards. At the same time, the norms of EURO-5 correspond to 13.1% of the parc.
In the segment of light commercial vehicles (LCV) at the beginning of this year there were 4 million units. Among them, EURO-2 toxicity standards are not met by 45.1%, but only 2.4% of the parc corresponds to EURO-5 norms.
As of January 1st, 2018, 3.7 million trucks (CV / HCV) were also registered in our country. In this segment, 65% of the vehicles do not meet the EURO-2 toxicity standards. Only 3.5% of the parc meets the norms EURO-5.
