The global transit bus market is small, but growing. Transit buses account for roughly 20% of a total global bus market of 324,000 buses (including motor coaches, school buses, and all other bus types). Motor coaches account for 22% of the global bus market, and school buses and medium duty buses for transporting employees, patients and tourists account for the remaining 60%.

    According to the Federal State Statistics Service, 878 thousand passenger cars left the Russian assembly lines for seven months of 2018, which is more by 18.2% than in the same period of the last year. Meanwhile, 107 thousand cars were produced in July, which is 13.3% higher than a year ago.

  • 17 august 2018 Renault will present off-road versions of Sandero, Logan and Dokker

    Renault Russia will present the Stepway series - a family of cars with increased ground clearance and off-road body kit: the updated Sandero Stepway, the Logan Stepway cross sedan and the Dokker Stepway cargo-and-passenger. The presentation of new models will take place at the Moscow Motor Show 2018. The start of sales of Sandero Stepway and Logan Stepway (including in the Stepway City series) is planned for autumn of 2018; Dokker Stepway will appear in the Russian market at the beginning of 2019. Production of the crossover Sandero Stepway and the cross-sedan Logan Stepway is adjusted at the AVTOVAZ plant in Togliatti.

About a half (48.2%) of the parc were light commercial vehicles (3.54 million units), a little less number (46.7%) belong to trucks (3.43 million units), and the rest 5.1% belong to buses (0.37 million units)
