Lifan plans to increase Russian sales by 30% in the first half of year

The company “Lifan Motors Rus”, the official distributor of Lifan cars, expects the sales increase to 30% in the first half of 2013. The main share of sales of brand is occupied by Lifan Solano sedan. A good start of sales of new model of 2012, crossover Lifan X60, and the expectation of deliveries of new models give reason to assume the continued growth in demand and greater dispersion of consumer preferences across the model range of Lifan, remarked in “Lifan Motors Rus”. By the end of 2013 the carmaker plans to introduce to the Russian market X60 model with automatic transmission and a new business-class sedan Lifan Cebrium (Lifan 720 in China). Also the updated Lifan Smily will appear in Russia, who will also receive a variator. Also at the end of 2013 – the beginning of 2014, the updated Lifan Breez and restyled version of Lifan 330, Lifan 630 will come to the Russian market.

The company “Lifan Motors Rus” was formed a year ago by the initiative of the corporation Lifan Industry. From May 1st , 2012, the company carries out its activity in Russia as the official distributor of car brand Lifan. During the representation the brand cemented firmly its leadership position, and Lifan became the best-buy Chinese car in Russia in the last year. In 2012, the Russian market has sold more than 20,000 Lifan cars. At the moment, Russia is one of the priority sales markets of Lifan brand.

The main focus of operation of “Lifan Motors Rus” was at the expansion of the dealer network. At this stage, the company has a network of 150 dealerships and it plans to increase this figure to 200 by the end of the year. The next stage of development is to establish the continuity of supply of new cars and spare parts. General Director of “Lifan Motors Rus”, Sun Tszetszyun, sees that the main objective of the company is the improvement of service quality. A clear and well-regulated after-sales service is also one of the main priorities of the “Lifan Motors Rus”. To implement these plans, “Lifan Motors Rus” is implementing actively training programs for dealers. The course of service level improvement is designed to be 2-3 years in average.
