Jaguar Land Rover increased Russian sales by 34% in January


Sales of company “Jaguar Land Rover” increased by 34% to 885 cars in the Russian market for January of 2013, among them 815 SUVs Land Rover (+37%) and 70 premium-sedans Jaguar (+8%). Representatives of company “Jaguar Land Rover Russia” are sure that the sales level will remain at a stable level throughout 2013.

As the CEO of “Jaguar Land Rover Russia”, Frank Wittemann, reported earlier, the company plans to increase sales of cars in Russia by 15% in 2013. Total sales of brands Jaguar and Land Rover grew by 46% in Russia the last year – to 20,549 cars. The sales of SUVs Land Rover were 19043 cars, Jaguar – 1506 units.

According to Mr. Wittemann, sales increase will help the “Strategy of acceleration” that was adopted by company in 2011. According to this strategy, the English brand will raise the quality of client service to a new level; it will expand the dealer network and model range. Sales of all-wheel version sedans XF and XJ and a roadster F-Type will be started in Russia during 2013. In addition, in summer the English company promised to present the range of absolutely new models that are still unknown.

At the present time Company Jaguar Land Rover is presented by 47 dealer centres in 30 cities of Russia, the number of centres will be increased to 55 by the end of 2013 and the geography of presence of brand will be expanded to 40 cities during 3-5 years.
