AvtoVAZ will present three world premieres in Moscow motor show

AvtoVAZ will present three world premieres and other 13 serial and perspective models in Moscow motor show. Visitors of MIMS-2012 will see two modifications of the last new car of AvtoVAZ - Lada Largus, the luxury Lada Granta with automatic transmission and “civil” version of Lada Granta Sport - together with premieres – concept car, the second generation of Lada Klaina and electric car El Lada.

The central exhibit is the concept car, which was created under control of director of design of AvtoVAZ, Steve Mattin: quintessence of DNA of new style of Lada.

Another one world premiere of AvtoVAZ is the upgraded Lada Kalina, the start of sales of which will be in 2013. The second generation of Lada Kalina differs by a new stylish design, modern comfort level, perceived quality of elements of interior, new feelings from car driving due to the new engine, gear box and suspensions with original settings.

At first in the history of AvtoVAZ the plant will present a serial electric car EL Lada: the first lot of cars will be taxi cars in Stavropol region in the nearest future. EL Lada is based on Lada Kalina and it could accelerate to 130 km/h, power reserve is 150 km, charging from home network is 8 hours.

Lada Largus is in two modifications: estate car and van (two places plus cargo space of 2,5 m3). And the partner of AvtoVAZ “Super Avto Holding” will also present in the exhibition stand estate car Lada Largus in a configuration “taxi”. This car is equipped with a radio station, a navigation system, a video register, a taximeter, a device for credit cards reading and, of course, identifying marks. Sales of Lada Largus started more than a month ago and at the present time AvtoVAZ has sold several thousand of these cars and consumer demand is considerably more than the production capacities. 

AvtoVAZ presents a “civil” version of Lada Granta Sport for those who like the active style of driving – a car that was built by sport department of plant, Lada Sport company. Features of car are original chassis, sport body kit and seats; boosted engine to 120 HP, acceleration to 100 km/h for 9,5 seconds and the maximum speed is 197 km/h. The small scale Lada Granta Sport stands close to the Lada Granta Touring car in the exhibition that was prepared for the participation in the Russian championship by ring races in class “Touring”. 

Also AvtoVAZ presents a new best buy car – the luxury Lada Granta with automatic transmission. The car will be in the market this year; it includes multimedia system, air conditioner, 15’’ disks, full electric set, safety belts of front seats with pretensioners and many other elements of comfort and safety.
