Ford will present a new Kuga and a concept Evos in Moscow motor show

Company Ford will present the wide model range of cars of Russian production in Moscow motor show-2012, which includes not only Focus and Mondeo but also Kuga, Explorer and Transit. The main premiere will be Ford Kuga of new generation, which will be demonstrated for Russians at first and it will be available for orders in dealer centres Ford already in 2013. And Ford Evos will present the design and technologies of future of Ford Company.

New Ford Kuga includes the row of new technologies and also swifter, sleeker design and spacious cabin. The production of new model will be started in plant “Ford Sollers” in Tatarstan in 2013 and this car will be available for orders for Russian clients of Ford. New Ford Kuga will be offered with the wide range of power aggregates. This model will be equipped with 1,6L petrol turbo engine of family EcoBoost and also 2,0L diesel engines TDCi from the beginning of sales start in Russia in 2013. Among the technological innovations – boot that could be opened without arms, by passing leg under the rear bumper. It will be also offered the range of technologies of driver assistance, including SYNC, system of parking assistance, system of “blind” zones monitoring, system of automatic braking and intellectual system of four wheel drive (AWD).

Moscow International Motor Show 2012 will also be the site for Russian debut of unique concept Ford Evos, which includes a new design and key technologies of future Ford. This conceptual fastback presents the new direction in design of Ford in conditions of global strategy One Ford development. Technological decisions of concept include a new level of involvement of a driver. Current developments of Ford are aimed at it. The harmonious interrelation between a car and “a private information field” of a driver is a central element of company’s submission about the possibilities of a future car.
