The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" carried out a study of the parc of cars in Russia as of January 1, 2017 and it determined the largest regional parks.
Structures of new cars market of Russia and St. Petersburg are quite different. If the absolute leader of Russia is Lada, then Nissan brand pushed a domestic producer from the leading position in the North capital. The share of brand was 8,3% of total volume of registrations of new cars in the city. Lada is on the second place with a share 7,9%. Volkswagen follows with a small difference (6,9%).
KIA (6,9%) and Renault (6,6%) are also in the TOP-5. And the TOP-10 of brands occupied 64,5% of market of St. Petersburg.
Totally by the results of 2011 it was registered 122,6 thousand of new passenger cars in St. Petersburg.
