The cheapest Russian car was removed from production

AvtoVAZ stopped the production of Lada 2105 in December 2010. The press-office of AvtoVAZ informed about it and they also added that there were produced only 5 pick ups of model in January.
It should be remarked that Lada 2105 was the cheapest Russian car, the price of which started from 178 thousand Roubles. It should be recalled that the production of this model was started in 1980 and there were produced 2 million 87 thousand cars during the production period, in according with AUTOSTAT data.
Meanwhile, the other classic model � Lada 2107 � will also soon leave an assembly line of AvtoVAZ. The press-office informed that production transferring of Lada 2107 car to the Izhevsk plant will be implemented in 2011 as it was presumed by development program. The development of designed capacities of Lada 2107 in �IzhAuto� will be started in the second quarter.
