Other debts (for AkBars, Uralsib and Alfa-bank should be paid off as a result of IzhAvto non-core assets sales.

Meanwhile, AvtoVAZ intends to invest up to 7 billion roubles in modernization of the Izhevsk car plant till 2016. The money will be invested with Sberbank loan with the period up to seven years. IzhAvto capacity is planned to be increased from the current 220,000 up to 360,000 cars per year in 2014.

At present the enterprise assembles the Lada 2107 and the Lada 2104, as well as the Izh-27175 van. Next year IzhAvto is planning to start production of the new low-cost Lada Granta.
