As the analytic agency AUTOSTAT reported earlier, there are 43.5 million passenger cars in Russia. Most of them are registered in Moscow - almost 3.7 million units.

St. Petersburg has the second parc by the number of cars - 1.75 million units. The third place is occupied by Yekaterinburg, where there are 462 thousand cars. The fourth place is belonged to Novosibirsk (445 thousand units), and the fifth is occupied by Samara (394 thousand units). The second TOP-five of cities in terms of the number of car parc looks like this: Kazan (374 thousand units), Nizhny Novgorod (361 thousand units), Krasnodar (341 thousand units), Chelyabinsk (331 thousand units) and Voronezh (330 thousand units).

Then the Russian parc of passenger cars is distributed among cities as follows: 11th place is occupied by Omsk (329 thousand units), 12th – by Rostov-on-Don (325 thousand units), 13th – by Krasnoyarsk (322 thousand units), 14th – by Ufa (320 thousand units), 15th – by Vladivostok (309 thousand units), 16th – by Volgograd (264 thousand units), 17th – by Saratov (253 thousand units), 18th – by Perm (252 thousand units), 19th – by Tyumen (236 thousand units), 20th – by Togliatti (212 thousand units), 21st – by Irkutsk (197 thousand units), 22nd – by Izhevsk (182 thousand units), 23rd – by Barnaul (180 thousand units), 24th – by Kaliningrad (177 thousand units). The TOP-25 of Russian cities by the volume of car parc is closed by Orenburg (173 thousand units).
