According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, by the results of the 1st quarter of 2019, the market volume of used passenger cars of Japanese brands in Russia amounted to 323.6 thousand units. It is more by 2.5% than a year ago.

Toyota Corolla remains the most popular Japanese used car, the figure of which reached approximately 22 thousand units during the reporting period, which is more by 1% than in January-March of 2018. Toyota Camry is in the second position of the rating, the re-sale of which was 17.5 thousand units (+ 7%). In the third place there is Mitsubishi Lancer, the volume of the secondary market of which fell by 3.5% up to 10.7 thousand units.

The fourth place was occupied by Toyota RAV4 crossover (9 thousand units; + 4%). Three models of Nissan are the next in our ranking - Almera sedan (8.4 thousand units; + 2%), as well as X-Trail crossovers (7.7 thousand units; + 10%) and Qashqai (7, 5 thousand units; + 9%). In addition to them, the TOP-10 of the most popular used Japanese cars in Russia for the first 3 months of this year included: Mazda 3 (6.8 thousand units; -2%), Mitsubishi Outlander (6.5 thousand units; +11 %) and Honda CR-V (5.9 thousand units; -1%).
