In 2018, legal entities imported 234 thousand passenger cars (new and pre-owned) to the Russian Federation. Such data is contained in the report “The market of passenger cars in Russia. The results of 2018, trends and prospects”, prepared by the analytic agency “AUTOSTAT”.

The most imported model in our country for the last year was Toyota Land Cruiser SUV, the figure of which was 17.8 thousand units. The Lexus RX is in the second place with a score of 8.8 thousand cars, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is in the third place (7.3 thousand units). The TOP-five of leaders is closed by two Mercedes-Benz models - GLC (6.6 thousand units) and E-Class (6.4 thousand units).

In addition to them, the TOP-10 of the most imported cars in Russia by the results of 2018 included: Lexus NX (5.9 thousand units), Toyota Corolla (5.5 thousand units), Mercedes-Benz GLE (5.1 thousand units), Volkswagen Touareg (4.9 thousand units) and Subaru Forester (4.7 thousand units).
