Where do Russians prefer to buy car tires?

Опрос с DROM шины март 2018_eng.jpg

Winter this year dragged on, but people will have to change tires on the car, although, most likely, later than usual. In any case, for most car enthusiasts, it does not negate the fact of buying tires: someone did it earlier, someone later, and there are those who are just going to make such a purchase.

Considering this, experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" and DROM.ru portal conducted a joint online survey in March, in which more than 15 thousand respondents took part. They were asked to answer the question: "Where did you buy car tires last time?".

As the survey results show, every third respondent made a purchase in a specialized tire center. If we take into account regional preferences, then the inhabitants of the Far East, Siberia, the Volga region, the Caucasus and the North-West of our country are inclined to this. 28% of respondents used the services of online stores, and here the buyers of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and also the Ural and the Center of Russia succeeded. But every fifth participant of the survey bought tires at individuals through the ad. The share of those who preferred other methods of purchase is less than 6% (car market, auto parts stores, dealer centers, "tire service", supermarkets / hypermarkets, car service / service stations, etc.).

Thus, as experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, over 80% of Russians prefer to buy car tires at specialized tire centers, online stores or under ads at private individuals.
