Domestic brands have 30% of the secondary market of the Russian Federation

According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", 30% of the Russian market of cars with a run falls on domestic brands. So, in 2017 in our country it was resold about 1.6 million of these cars.

Japanese brands are slightly inferior to them, the share of which is 27.5%, which quantitatively corresponds to 1.46 million units. Thus, Japanese cars remain the most popular in the secondary market among foreign cars.

German and Korean brands occupy 12.8% and 11% of the market, respectively. Also, Russians prefer to buy used cars of American (8.8%), French (4.9%), Czech (1.6%) and Chinese (1.1%) brands. The top ten of popular cars among Russian buyers on the secondary market also include English and Swedish brands (by 0.7% each).
