Skoda Rapid entered the TOP-10 of Russian bestsellers in January


Russian dealers of Skoda sold 4,501 cars in January - more by 26% than a year before. As a result, Skoda took eighth place in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the market share of the brand was 4.4%, according to the AEB.

Skoda's best seller in the Russian market in the last month is the compact liftback Rapid - 2298 customers (+ 16%) chose this model, reported the press service of Skoda Auto Russia. It should be noted that in January Rapid entered the TOP-10 of the best-selling cars on the Russian market, stated analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT". The second place among the models of Skoda is occupied by Octavia, whose sales were 1387 units (+ 11%). The sales of the flagship model Skoda Superb grew by 12% up to 121 cars in January. In addition, sales of SUV Skoda Kodiaq were 251 cars.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in February, Russian dealers of Skoda began the accepting of orders for the sporty version of the Kodiaq Sportline SUV. The starting price of the novelty is 2 million 180 thousand rubles. In the second quarter of 2018, it is planned the start of sales of Kodiaq off-road vehicle of local assembly and Russian dealers will have a special line of Skoda Rapid, Octavia and Kodiaq Hockey Edition in August
