According to the assessment of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", for 11 months of 2017 in Russia it was sold 126.2 thousand new cars of the premium segment. This is only 0.4% less than the result of a year ago (126.8 thousand units).

The leader in sales in the premium segment remains the German Mercedes-Benz, whose figure for the reporting period was 32,375 cars - 2.4% less than in January-November of 2016. In second place there is another German brand - BMW (27227 units, + 8.2%). The Japanese tops the top three (20,982 units, -2.9%). Note also the German brand Audi (15426 units), which despite the strongest fall (-19.1%) among representatives of the premium class, was able to overcome the 15-thousand mark in sales. We should note that these four brands accounted for 76% of the total sales in the premium segment.

In addition to them, the TOP-10 of the Russian market of new premium cars for the 11 months of 2017 also included: Land Rover (8092 units, -2.9%), Volvo (5934 units, + 20.2%) , Infiniti (4568 units, + 11.6%), Porsche (3984 units -7.4%), Jaguar (2016 units, + 12.4%) and MINI (1441 units, +17.1 %).

As experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, sales of premium cars in Russia have been growing for two months in a row (in October and November). Therefore, while maintaining the existing positive dynamics, they cannot exclude the fact that they can even get into the "plus" in general for 2017.
