TOP-10 of the most recognized brands of car tires


Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" within the study "AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2017. Car tires: car owners preferences" have estimated the level of recognition of brands of tires of cars.
Participants of the survey (more than 3000 Russian car owners *) were asked to indicate (no more than three) tire brands, which they first recalled. According to the results of the survey, the most recognizable brand of tires is Michelin, which was indicated by more than 40% of respondents. A little lower this figure is for Nokian (35.7%).

Every fourth respondent remembered Bridgestone brand (25.5%), about the same number - brand KAMA (22.6%). Almost the same survey results were received by Yokohama, Pirelli and Cordiant (in the range of 15.5 - 16.5%). Every eighth interviewee indicated Goodyear (12.7%), and every tenth - Continental (10.1%). The smallest result of the TOP-10 is belonged to the Hankook brand (6.5%).

* This study was conducted through an online survey in November of 2017, which was attended by more than 3000 car owners (until 2017, inclusively). Quota by the gender (no more than 25% of women of car owners) and quotas by the "age of the car", "geography of respondents' residence" (calculated based on the structure of the active parc of Russia) were taken into account when forming the sample.
