The export of cars from the RF in the first half of the year increased by 61%


According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of Russian exports of light vehicles (excluding the countries belonging to the Customs Union) for the 6 months of 2017 was approximately 24 thousand units. This is more by 61% than during the same period of a year ago.

Half of this number is occupied by Skoda cars, among which about 12 thousand were exported in total. Almost all this volume falls on one model - the crossover Yeti.

On the second place among the brands there is the domestic LADA, which has 23% in the export structure, which corresponds to 5,500 units. Hyundai and Renault delivered by 1,3 thousand cars each beyond the limits of the Customs Union. Volkswagen also falls into the top-five, which in the first half of the year exported more than 1,000 cars from Russia.

In addition to the mentioned Skoda Yeti, two LADA - 4x4 SUV (2.9 thousand units) and Vesta sedan (1.4 thousand units) are among the top-three of exporters among the models. Also in this regard, it is worth noting the crossover Renault Duster, the figure of which exceeded 1000 exported units.

As for the main export destinations, the Czech Republic is the leader - half of the Russian export for this period fell on this country (about 12 thousand units). On the second place of the rating there is Ukraine (2.3 thousand units), and Latvia closes the top-three (1.8 thousand). Except them, it is possible to note Hungary and Lebanon - in each of these countries there were exported more than 1000 cars.
