Renault increased sales by 20% in Russia in July

Russian dealers of Renault sold 10,982 cars in July - more by 20% compared to the last year. According to the results of seven months of 2017, Renault's sales in the Russian market were 71816 vehicles, which is more by 17% than in the same period of the last year. As a result, Renault took the fourth place by sales among all automakers in Russia, and the market share of the brand was 8.5% compared to 7.8% a year before, according to the AEB.

The best-seller of Renault in Russia remains the crossover Duster - it was chosen by 3171 consumers in the last month (+ 2%). The second place in the model range of Renault was occupied by the sedan Logan, which was sold in the amount of 2644 units (+ 6%). The third result among the Renault models was shown by hatchback Sandero - 2549 sold cars (+ 24%). Sales of compact crossover Kaptur were 2383 cars, which is more by 68% than a year ago.

According to the press service of Renault Russia, the success of the company is due to a wide model range of SUV, which in June was supplemented with the new flagship crossover Renault Koleos. At the same time Renault Russia sees the great potential in the development of the line of light commercial vehicles and before the end of 2017 it will introduce a new multifunctional car Renault Dokker. As noted, the strengthening of the company's position confirms the correctness of Renault's long-term strategy in Russia, which is based on the Russian production with a high degree of localization. The whole Russian model range Renault is adapted to the road and climatic conditions and fully meets the needs of customers.

A significant contribution to the increase in sales was made by the online showroom Renault, through which it was sold more than 6,000 cars. This year, it became available the whole model range of Renault for the customers of the online showroom, among which Renault Kaptur is the most popular. In addition, Renault Russia became the first company in the Russian market, which opened sales of the new model Renault Koleos, first of all, in the online showroom. Also, the company introduced a number of new services - prepayment with Yandex.Money and loan processing.
