Dynamics of car sales by segments in 2017

More than 40% of Mitsubishi cars were sold through MS Bank Rus in April

As a result of April of 2017, the share of new Mitsubishi cars, sold with the using of MS Rus Bank loans, was more than 40%. In turn, the volume of loans issued by JSC MS Bank Rus to individuals grew by more than 70% compared to April of 2016. The bulk of issued loans still falls on the purchase of the Mitsubishi Outlander model, informed the press service of the JSC MS Bank Rus.

As noted, a high level of credit sales in April was achieved, also thanks to the demand for a new special offer for Mitsubishi Outlander - 0% for 3 years, which was launched in the beginning of March of 2017 by MS Bank Rus and MMS Rus. The offer is valid for Mitsubishi Outlander until the end of May of 2017.

In addition, at the beginning of this year, a new insurance product was launched - insurance against involuntary loss of employment (including termination of an employment contract by agreement of the parties). Many clients of JSC MS Bank Rus have formed a policy for this product.

As the chairman of the board of JSC MS Bank Rus, Savaii Norihiro, said, the bank will continue to increase the growth rate of credit sales in 2017 through the provision of competitive loan products, including participation in the government program of preferential car loans.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in April, Russian dealers of Mitsubishi sold 1270 cars - 9% more than a year before. According to the results of four months of 2017, sales of the brand in our country were 5,523 cars, which is less by 11% than in the same period of the last year. Mitsubishi's best seller in the Russian market remains the crossover Outlander, whose sales in April grew by 45% and they were 1,053 vehicles. Since the beginning of the year, 4895 off-road vehicles of this model have been sold, which is 30% more than in the previous year. Thus, Outlander occupies 88.6% of the total brand sales.
