Ford Focus – is the leader of the parc of the capital region

Analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the parc of cars in Moscow and the Moscow region as of January 1, 2017 and it determined the most popular model.

According to the results of the study, the leader of this parc is Ford Focus - totally in the capital region at the beginning of this year there are 154.7 thousand such cars. In the second place there is the sedan LADA 2107, the result of which was 135.5 thousand units. The top three of leaders is closed by Hyundai Solaris, which is registered in an amount of 132.1 thousand units.

Then LADA 2109 and KIA Rio go, the indicators of which were 128 thousand cars and 116 thousand cars, respectively. In addition to the above models, the TOP-10 of parc of cars in Moscow and the Moscow region includes: LADA 2105 (105.2 thousand units), Skoda Octavia (101.9 thousand units), LADA 2104 (101.4 thousand units)), Renault Logan (91.1 thousand units) and LADA 2109 (90.1 thousand units). Indicators of other models are less than 90 thousand units.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in the metropolitan region there is concentrated 15% of the parc of cars, which in quantitative terms exceeds 6 million units.
