Fiat Panda entered the top five of European bestsellers in February


The compact hatchback Fiat Panda in February entered the top five of the best-selling models in Europe, becoming the leader of the A-segment. As it was noted in Fiat, more than 80% of sales of Panda falls on the Italian market, where this model is unconditional best-seller since 2012.

According to data, obtained by the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the research company JATO Dynamics, the most sold model in Europe in February is Volkswagen Golf with an indicator of 31910 sold cars (-12%). The second place is occupied by Renault Clio, whose sales grew by 11.7% to 24415 cars. The third result was shown by Volkswagen Polo - the sales of this model were 19,678 units (-13.4%). Then Ford Fiesta comes, which was chosen by 19,462 European buyers (-5%). Fiat Panda closes the top-five, which was sold in amount of 19,153 units (+ 1.2%). The top-10 of best selling models in Europe also included Nissan Qashqai (19,057 units, + 11.6%), Opel / Vauxhall Corsa (18,691 units, -3.5%), Peugeot 208 (18,486 units, -10,4%), Opel / Vauxhall Astra (17,954 units, + 7.2%) and Skoda Octavia (17,796 units, -1.6%).
