The "Hyundai Motor CIS" changed the CEO

General Director of the company "Hyundai Motor CIS" on November 7th, 2015 was appointed Mr. Ikkyun, who succeeded Mr. Qu Yong-Gi.

Mr. O was educated at the University of Lagos in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from which he graduated in 1989 with a degree in business administration. In the same year Mr. O began his career in the company of Hyundai Motor. His work record is also the experience of managing subsidiaries in key overseas markets - in Hungary and the UK. In 2005, Mr. Oh was appointed the Director of the Division for the Coordination of foreign policy Hyundai Motor.

In the list of priorities as the CEO of "Hyundai Motor CIS" Mr. O sees the achievement of key business objectives for sales and business development, strengthening the position of Hyundai brand in the Russian market and to provide both quantitative and qualitative growth of the dealer network.

Since the founding in 2007 the company "Hyundai Motor CIS" increased sales from 90 thousand vehicles per year to 179.6 thousand vehicles at the end of 2014 and it expanded dealer network more than twice. At the end of October 2015 the figure of sold cars reached the mark of 1.088 million units, while the market share from 2,7% in 2007 increased to 10.1% - in the period from January to October of 2015.
