During the production time (from 2002 to 2014, inclusively) of Opel and Chevrolet, it was assembled in Russia more than 1.5 million vehicles of these brands. Since 2002 it was assembled at “GM-AvtoVAZ" 608.7 thousand units, since 2004 at "Avtotor" (574.1 thousand units) and since 2008 at the "General Motors" (341.6 thousand units).

The indicators of 2010 are detected as a promising after the failed results of 2009, when the production of trucks decreased by 64,5%. By the results of year the production of trucks in Russian Federation was 150,4 units that was more by 64,9% than the results of 2009.
The invariable leader of last years by the production of commercial vehicles are vehicles with a capacity of 3,5 tonnes. But the share of these vehicles decreased gradually: if it was 61,1% in 2009, then it was 59,8% by the results of 2010.
The production of plant of Nizhniy Novgorod is in the highest demand in the segment of light commercial vehicles. As before, the main production volume is occupied by two models: GAZ-3302 vehicles, which were assembled in amount of 44 thousand units and GAZ-2705 – a little bit more than 10 thousand of assembled vehicles. The whole range of trucks, which are produced by Ulyanovsk plant (17667 units), is in the same segment. The demand for Fiat Ducato vehicles was high stably during the whole year, so “Sollers-Yelabuga” could increase significantly the production volumes. If there were produced more than 3,8 thousand vehicles by the results of 2009, then the results of 2010 were about 9 thousand units. The quite good growth was fixed in the joint venture “Sollers-Isuzu”, where it was assembled more than twice of vehicles in compare with the previous year.
In spite of the production growth of average-tonnages vehicles, the share of these units decreased by 6,4% and it was 14,4% from the total amount of trucks assembled in Russia. The locomotive of segment is the production of GAZ – 12 thousand of vehicles with capacity from 3,5 till 8 tonnes. One of only few plants in Russia, which continued to decrease the production in 2010, was ZIL. There were produced about 1,3 thousand vehicles in ZIL in 2010 that was less by 43,8% than in 2009.
There was fixed the significant production growth in the segment of heavy trucks in the previous year, their share increased from 18,1% in 2009 till 25,8% by the results of 2010. The Kama plant is the leader of production volume of vehicles with capacity more than 8 tonnes. There were assembled more than 32 thousand trucks in the previous year.
