Volvo had a 12% sales increase in Russia in June

Russian Volvo dealers sold 993 cars in June, which is 11.8% more than a year ago. In the first six months of 2019, Volvo sales amounted to 3,913 vehicles, an increase of 24.9% in compare with the same period of the previous year.

According to the press service of Volvo Car Russia, the mid-sized XC60 second-generation crossover, sold out in the amount of 302 units (-4.5%), became the best-seller of the brand in the Russian market in June. The second sales result was shown by the full-sized XC90 crossover, which was chosen by 234 customers (-7.1%). TOP-three is closed by Volvo compact crossover XC40 –175 such cars were sold the previous month against 40 units of the previous year.

As AUTOSTAT reported earlier, Russian Volvo dealers began orders accepting for the premium-class sports sedan Volvo in May, which will be on sale in September.
