Mitsubishi increased sales by 2% in Russia in April

In April, Russian dealers of Mitsubishi sold 3,103 cars, which is more by 2% than a year before. For the first four months of 2019, 13,756 Mitsubishi vehicles were sold in Russia, which is more by 4% than the figure for the same period of the last year.

According to the press service of MMS Rus, the Outlander crossover remains the best-selling Mitsubishi in the Russian market, sales of which in April amounted to 1,644 cars (-14%). The second most popular model of Mitsubishi was the frame SUV Pajero Sport, which was chosen by 540 buyers (-16%). The third place went to the compact Mitsubishi ASX crossover with 411 sold cars (+ 64%).

Recall that at the end of March, sales of the fifth-generation updated Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck started in Russia. The novelty is presented in five different configurations at prices ranging from 2 million 069 thousand rubles to 2 million 702 thousand rubles.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in 2019, MMS Rus plans to sell more than 50 thousand new cars in Russia (+ 10% to the actual result of 2018), which will take up to 2.5% of the share of the Russian car market. It will be facilitated by the updating of dealer network in accordance with the new brand standards and the launch of the new L200 pickup, as well as the development of new support programs to stimulate sales.
